No Seat for Me? Then Get Out of My Empire Episode 1

Series details

Kael, president of a production company, has a life others envy: modest career success and a wife, Vivian, who manages everything at home. But he doesn’t know that his gentle, family-oriented wife is actually a core director of the top-tier capital group Kane. For love, she willingly stepped back for seven years, quietly using her wealth and connections to prop up Kael’s production career and covering all the family’s expenses. On a trip to the Cannes Film Festival, Kael brings his first love, Elara, into the car and leaves Vivian alone at the doorstep. Heartbroken, Vivian resolves to end the marriage. She returns to Kane Group and reclaims, one by one, the investments, privileges, and lifestyle perks she had given. Once his protective umbrella is gone, Kael’s production crew faces funding collapse and project setbacks, and the family’s comfortable life crumbles. Amid the difficulties, Kael gradually uncovers the truth and learns of Vivian’s seven years of silent sacrifice. Full of guilt, he wants to win her back, but Vivian, deeply hurt, has already devoted herself to her own career. Even though Kael finally sees the truth, the two ultimately miss each other.
