On My Coronation Day, I Rejected Three Mates Episode 1

Series details

I am Lux, the only daughter of the Wolf King of Valen Continent and the future queen poised to ascend the throne. At fourteen, I awakened my wolf spirit under a full moon, and my father publicly declared that upon reaching adulthood, I would become Valen's youngest queen. To ensure submission of all tribes to the new royal authority, he nominated three candidates for my husband: Cyrus of the Eagle Tribe, Casper of the White Tiger Tribe, and Vedicor of the Wolf Tribe—my childhood companion. They once bowed to me and swore they would stand by my side forever. Everyone was convinced I would ultimately choose one of the three as Queen consort. That changed when human physician Lilia appeared. Time and again, they crossed boundaries, granting her privileges reserved for the future queen: Cyrus protected her with a royal candidate pass; Casper allowed her to assume the White Tiger form; Vedicor introduced her to the healing pool exclusive to the Wolf King's lineage; and even gave her my cherished old dress. They accused me of being spoiled, said I was jealous, and claimed I wasn't worthy of wearing my father's crown. Yet they forgot that a crown isn't meant to demand loyalty. Three days before my coronation, I burned the portraits of three potential successors and declared to my father: "I will choose Atticus from the Snake Clan." At the coronation ceremony, I publicly exposed evidence of their betrayal and revoked their eligibility as candidates for King. Lilia attempted to manipulate me under the guise of "kindness" and "the weak," but her true intentions soon emerged: to prove that the royal city depended on her, she secretly caused all the young children to develop high fevers. Ultimately, she was expelled from the royal city, and all three candidates paid the price for their negligence. Only then did I realize that a true king should not force me to kneel and beg for loyalty; he should stand by my side, protecting me when needed and waiting quietly when I need him.
