Once the Contract Ends, the Heiress Regrets Episode 1

Series details

Kael, a low-tier hunter, endured six years of humiliation working as a stand-in bodyguard and the unrequited love substitute for Victoria, the young heiress of the Ashford Merchant Guild, all to secure an antidote for his sister's venomous serpent curse. When their contract expired, Victoria cruelly cast him aside upon the return of Elliot, her long-lost beloved. After Kael fought back against the Guild's threats, he entered a contractual marriage with Cecilia, Victoria's elder half-sister and a Golden Insignia Hunter. At Elliot's birthday banquet, Kael's hidden true identity as Avicenna, the continent's legendary master alchemist, was exposed to everyone present. Overwhelmed with bitter regret, Victoria threw herself into a desperate campaign to win Kael back, only for Kael to stage a complete reversal of fortune: he saved his sister and found genuine love at last.
