Series details

Sixty-year-old Dr. Margaret Whitmore appears to be an ordinary chief of obstetrics and gynecology, yet she is secretly the matriarch of luxury fashion conglomerate Whitmore Maison and legendary designer Aurelia Voss. When she treats Vanessa, her son Julian’s fiancée, she discovers Vanessa has concealed her syphilis diagnosis. Vanessa humiliates and assaults her, even snatching her emergency medication when Margaret suffers a heart attack. Margaret endures silently while gathering irrefutable evidence. At the charity gala Julian hosts in her honor, Vanessa publicly insults her once again. Later, Vanessa fabricates a pregnancy to frame Margaret. This time, Margaret refuses to back down. She exposes the fake pregnancy hoax before all the guests and presents conclusive proof. Julian finally sees the truth and calls off the engagement. Enraged and desperate, Vanessa lashes out with threats—only to learn Margaret is Aurelia Voss, the designer she has long idolized. In the end, Vanessa is arrested for manslaughter. Margaret is appointed hospital chief. She gains her hard-won justice and guides her son into true maturity.
