Perish Beside My Fated Counterpart Episode 1

Series details

Beckett is the untouchable golden boy of Ashford Academy: the school board’s only son, captain of the diving team, and a guaranteed admit to Harvard. Everything shifts the day Wren transfers in, carrying a state championship medal. Consumed by jealousy, Beckett wages a campus-wide cold war against him—locking Wren out of his locker, switching his diving lanes, and cutting him off from all social circles. During a crucial competitive meet, Beckett suffers a brutal misstep and crashes into the diving board mid-dive. Without hesitation, Wren leaps into the water to pull him to safety. On the poolside, Wren’s quiet line “Then what do you need?” leaves Beckett completely speechless for the first time. As Beckett digs deeper, he uncovers the truth: Wren was recruited by his own father as a calculated pawn to pressure and outshine him. Shockingly, Wren has known about the scheme all along yet chose to stay. Rivalry melts into quiet alliance, and the two become secret accomplices. On graduation day, they stand side by side and publicly tear apart the prewritten, controlling life script Beckett’s father forced upon both of them.
