Red Spear, Broken Vow Episode 1

Series details

He was the Supreme Commander of the empire’s armies, yet he gave it all up to live as a quiet scholar for three years to honor his parents' dying wish. When his wife, a fierce female warrior, left for the battlefield to seek glory, he gifted her a legendary red-tasseled spear forged from ancient cold iron to keep her safe. Three years later, she returns in triumph—but she is heavily pregnant and clinging to another man's arm. Throwing a divorce paper at his feet, she mocks him: "My husband must be a world-conquering hero, not a weak, useless scholar like you." As she turns to leave, he sheds his scholar’s robes to reveal his legendary golden armor. Only when the entire nation kneels before him does she realize that the "useless" husband she despised is actually the God of War who rules the very empire she fought for.
