Rehab for Loving You Episode 1

Series details

Mary has been madly infatuated with Roderick for eight years. However, her overwhelming passion makes him uncomfortable, and he sends her to a so-called Love Addiction Rehabilitation Center. Seemingly a formal institution, the place is actually a living hell. For three years, Mary suffers constant flogging and abuse. One of her kidneys is secretly removed without her knowledge. The long-term torture leaves her with lung cancer, and she is given only six months to live. Three years later, Mary is set free. All her love has long been worn away, leaving her timid and numb. At this moment, Roderick suddenly comes to his senses and claims to regret everything. Yet when he first sees her covered in scars, he coldly says, “You deserved it.” Mary tries to start a new life on her own, but she is repeatedly obstructed and harassed by people around Roderick. Pushed to the brink, she falls into deep despair and even attempts to take her own life. By the time Roderick finally uncovers the dark secrets of the rehabilitation center and learns the truth that Mary was framed, he is filled with overwhelming guilt and longs to make up for his mistakes. But Mary’s heart is already closed off forever, and she draws a clear line between them once and for all. In the end, with the company of the gentle and kind Leonard, Mary walks out of her trauma, fights cancer actively, regains her health, learns to love herself again, and embraces a brand-new life. As for Roderick, he leaves for a remote mountain area, spending the rest of his life in lonely atonement.
