Rejected at the Altar, Claimed by the Vampire King Episode 1

Series details

Ivy, a half-blood maiden, and Adrian, a pure-blood noble, were bound by a sacred covenant forged by the Ancestor, destined to wed. Yet at the Crimson Altar, before all the clan nobles, Adrian scorned her mixed blood and tore their marriage pact apart in public, letting his scheming cousin Celeste take her place. He cruelly abandoned Ivy, who carried his child, leaving her in the wilderness to be burned alive by the rising sun. When Adrian learned Ivy bore his pure-blood heir, he led troops to seize the child, hoping to regain power through his offspring. But he was utterly overpowered by Dorian, the thousand-year Vampire King. With his own eyes, he beheld the woman he cast aside like trash, adorned in royal splendour, standing side by side with the supreme monarch. Ivy had wished to let go of her grievances, yet conservative pure-blood factions repeatedly plotted to assassinate her. They deemed her and her unborn child a blemish on their bloodline. To protect her daughter and seize control of her fate, Ivy ventured alone into the perilous Ancestral Mausoleum. She endured the Blood Moon Trial, awakening the one-of-a-kind Dawn Bloodline unseen for a millennium. Granted the Ancestral Seal that commands sunlight, she became the prophesied one destined to overturn the order of the night. Her unborn daughter was the legendary Dawn Child, immune to sunlight and the saviour of all vampires. Driven by unquenchable ambition, Celeste poisoned Adrian to seize his title and disrupted Ivy’s wedding to the Vampire King, attempting to abduct the prophesied princess. At the grand wedding ceremony, Ivy revealed the Ancestral Seal and exposed every scheme and crime. Celeste was stripped of all status and condemned to eternal life as a lowly blood slave. Ivy abolished the thousand-year-old discriminatory blood laws of the vampires, granting equal dignity to half-bloods and lesser kin. Princess Aurora, the Dawn Child, was safely born, bringing light to the entire nocturnal continent. The once-rejected half-blood outcast ascended to the throne. Together with the thousand-year king who loved only her, she toppled the rotten old order, avenged her wrongs, ruled the Night Kingdom, and finally found her true home and glory.
