She Died Before the Flames Episode 1

Series details

The first ninety-nine times, Sylvia forgave. The hundredth time, she stopped. Ethan had handed her to Tara like a gift, and Tara had kept her for three days. Sylvia walked out with a body full of scars and a heart full of silence. She didn't cry. She didn't scream. She flew to a private island, disappeared from every record, and started over. She taught her left hand the precision her right had lost. She studied, practiced, and became one of the finest surgeons in the world. Three years later, she accepted an invitation to an international medical forum in the very city where her abuser lived. Tara arrived, smug and unafraid. She didn't know Sylvia had been in her house. She didn't know her "trophies" had been copied. She didn't know the woman she had broken was standing in the front row, watching her with steel in her eyes. Sylvia pressed play. The room fell silent. Tara screamed. The police came. Ethan ran to Sylvia and fell at her feet. She stepped around him like he was furniture. Dr. Cole Harris was waiting at the door. He took her hand and asked, "Ready?" She smiled. "I've been ready for three years."
