She's No Gold Digger Episode 1

Series details

In order to treat her daughter's illness as quickly as possible, Elowen, a rising pharmaceutical entrepreneur, went to a farm to inspect the cultivation of raw materials for neurological drugs. There, she was unexpectedly harassed by a thug named Kace, who mistook her for his online girlfriend. Elowen argued back and soon discovered that her own assistant, Maren, had used AI to replace her face and had been catfishing men online to make money. Once her true nature was exposed, Maren immediately turned against Elowen, shifting all the blame onto her. Together with the thug Kace and a deceived middle-aged bachelor named Harlan, Maren humiliated and abused Elowen, trying to turn her into a plaything for the two lowlifes. The three grew increasingly greedy. Maren wanted the ten million in research funds that Elowen had allocated to the research institute. When Kace and Harlan failed to cash out, they attempted to force Elowen back into her "old trade" — selling her to men for money. Meanwhile, Elowen's husband, Caspian, the richest man in Texas, realized she had gone missing. Suspicious of Maren's evasive explanations, he brought their daughter Liora to search for her. Following clues from their daughter, they finally found Elowen — abused and held captive. The couple revealed their true identities, decisively fought back, exposed Maren's hypocritical and malicious nature, and sent Kace and Harlan to the police station.
