Slaying Monsters at Bureau 749 Episode 1

Series details

Jiang Zhan, a chosen Natural Awakener, encountered the inner-world monster "Road Wraith's Maw" during his internship, activating his golden finger — the "Shadow Monarch" ability. Killing monsters became his sole path to advancement. Extreme and decisive, he earned the title "Bone Withering Death Star." He joined Bureau 749, a special agency containing supernatural monsters, and partnered with investigator Chen Ziyi. Together they handled bizarre cases like the "Killer Love Letters" and battled monster forces orchestrated by the Heaven Slaughter Alliance and wealthy heir Zhou Heng, gradually unraveling the tangled mystery between the Surface World and the Inner World. Believing in "proving one's path through slaughter," he disregarded rules, blood-washed corruption, and used extreme methods to reshape order. Amid the contradiction between containment and killing, he carved out his own "bright and just world" through the blade.
