SORROW FLOWS AGAINST THE SEA Episode 1

Series details

Two years ago, a fire at the Carters' estate nearly claimed Felix Carter’s life. Yet Stella Carter, his half-sister whom he risked everything to save, falsely accused him of starting the blaze—and everyone believed her. Felix refused to admit to something he didn’t do and chose to live apart. Thus, the once-renowned Carters of the river town and the struggling Felix Carter seemed to have no connection at all. Because Felix was too stubborn to confess to a crime he never committed, life ground him down. After enduring relentless scorn and bullying, one night, he climbed to the rooftop. At the same time, the truth about the fire, Stella’s origins, and the disloyalty of Vincent Carter’s second wife began to unravel before Vincent’s eyes. But by the time he finally understood the defeat and disappointment in his son’s gaze, when he rushed to deliver the coming-of-age gift meant for Felix—all he found on the rooftop was a line his son had left behind: “Dad, in these eighteen years, was there even one second when you were proud of me?”
