Spoiled by Her Rejected Groom Episode 1

Series details

To save her critically ill younger brother Eli, Clara — long neglected by her own family — is forced by her stepmother to take the place of her sister Vanessa, who refused the marriage, and wed Adrian Raven, a man everyone believes is destitute and stripped of power. On their wedding day, Adrian not only shields Clara in front of the entire crowd, but also pays off Eli's surgery deposit in full. After the marriage, Clara discovers that the man her sister disdained and rejected is actually the true power behind Raven Capital — and the exiled billionaire heir of the Raven family. When Vanessa learns the truth, she frantically regrets her decision and tries to steal him back. Meanwhile, Elara, the head of the Raven family, continuously manipulates the couple through the laurel brooch left by Clara's mother, secrets of family inheritance, and Celeste Medical Center. Facing hospital layoffs, a missing 30 million in funds, and family conspiracies, Clara refuses to remain forever dependent on Adrian. Relying on her own judgment, she wins the support of the staff and gradually becomes the central figure in the hospital's restructuring. After the crisis is resolved, she voluntarily terminates their original marriage contract and leaves — because she must confirm whether, without the life-saving debt and sense of obligation, she would still choose Adrian. After losing her, Adrian, accustomed to solving everything with money and power, finally learns to wait, to ask, and to respect. In the end, Clara — now with her own career and the power to choose — walks back to him. This time, not for Eli, not for the contract, but simply because she wants him.
