Substitute Bride, Hidden Heiress Episode 1

Series details

Aria was oppressed by Vanessa and her daughter from a young age—nominally an adopted daughter, but in truth nothing more than a tool to be sacrificed. On the day of the wedding, her stepsister Celeste fled, and Aria was forced to marry billionaire CEO Damian Blackwood in her place. To cover her grandmother Miriam's medical bills, she had no choice but to accept the three-month contractual marriage. It was supposed to be just a transaction, but after the wedding, Aria gradually revealed astonishing talent in jewelry design and an unyielding edge—causing Damian to shift from scrutinizing and doubting her to favoring and protecting her. Just as their feelings began to warm, the pendant Aria always wore led back to an old case involving the Seraphine jewelry empire. As DNA evidence, files, and a will came to light, she discovered that she was never a lowly adopted daughter—she was the true heir who had been missing for years. To protect their interests, Vanessa and Celeste forged evidence, manipulated public opinion, and even went after Miriam. Damian, too, once misjudged and hurt Aria, causing a rift between them. In the end, Aria stopped waiting to be saved and took back her identity, wealth, and dignity with her own hands. Only after losing her did Damian learn to humble himself and win her back. Together, they eventually stood at the center of power—and made everyone who had looked down on her pay the price.
