Series details

Ethan and his wife Nora scraped a living by collecting recyclables to pay off his brother Cody's gambling debts. The casino boss, Greg, coveted Nora's beauty and forced Cody to use her as payment. When Nora's undercover police identity was exposed, she was persecuted and killed. Overwhelmed with grief, Ethan gained a mysterious power and a system, setting him on a path of revenge. He confronted Larry, the casino's shadowy owner, and met Lucinda, who looked just like his late wife. Along the way, he discovered that he was connected to a powerful sect and a ruler of the divine realm. And he became caught in a conspiracy that spanned both mortal and divine realms. Eventually, Ethan learned that he and the ruler shared the same origin, and that it was his destiny to recover a sacred artifact. After defeating the forces of evil and safeguarding peace, he was reunited with Nora, who had been reborn, and built a new life with her and Lucinda.
