Taming THE MOB GODFATHER Episode 1

Series details

Raymond Walker, 38, is the undisputed ruler of New York’s underground arms market. Years of high-pressure living have left him with a sex addiction, yet he only accepts “clean, aimless” partners and is extremely averse to being touched by others. 22-year-old Ilana Cohen is an art school student who works as a bartender at one of Raymond’s bars to pay her tuition, while secretly investigating the truth behind her father’s “accidental” death (her father had once been one of Raymond’s delivery drivers). One late night, Ilana helped a coworker deliver an item to Raymond’s apartment, where a bodyguard mistook her for a “prearranged release partner,” and the two had sex. For the first time, Raymond experienced desire without the aid of drugs; from then on, he completely rejected other partners, and his sex addiction turned into an obsession with Ilana. Raymond’s godson, Noah, eager to seize power, learned that Ilana was Raymond’s “special partner” and began pretending to pursue her, hoping to use her to keep Raymond in check. Upon discovering this, Raymond intervened forcefully, publicly asserting his claim to Ilana, causing the conflict between uncle and nephew to erupt completely. Meanwhile, Olivia, Raymond’s personal physician who harbored a secret crush on him, fabricated a report claiming Ilana had a “contagious disease” out of jealousy. She also leaked information about an arms deal to Raymond’s rival in an attempt to force Ilana out. Under Raymond’s protection, Irina gradually discovered that her father’s death was a setup orchestrated by his rival in collusion with Noah. To protect Irina, Raymond not only purged the family of its traitors but also personally led a raid to destroy his rival’s arms cache. He was shot and wounded during the operation, causing Irina to finally let down her guard. Ultimately, Ilana uncovered crucial evidence regarding her father’s murder; Noah and Olivia were arrested by the police, and Raymond helped her clear her father’s name. The two held a private wedding in a penthouse apartment in New York, and Raymond’s sex addiction was completely cured by Ilana, making them each other’s sole source of support.
