She seeks the truth behind her family’s ruin and to recover the Philosopher’s Stone. A lab accident cuts her left hand. A drop of her golden blood awakens an ancient alchemical matrix, unveiling her rare lineage. Three apex predators launch a ruthless hunt for her: vampire lord Julian, wolf Alpha Tyler, and heretic hunter Zephyr. During trials including the Illusion Maze, they aim to bind her via pacts and equivalent exchange. But Elena is no prey. She discards her silver-sealed glasses, unleashing molten golden eyes and devastating alchemy. Turning the tables, she compels them to submit. She makes it clear: they do not choose her; she decides who earns a place beside her. Equivalent exchange is the law, vengeance her goal, and attraction nothing but an accident.
