The Alpha's Fading Moon Episode 1

Series details

Right before our Mating Ceremony, my mate, Alpha Kaelen, appeared before me with his childhood friend, Roslyn. He told me Roslyn got pregnant but she didn’t have a mate yet. If the Wolf Council finds out she’s pregnant out of wedlock, she’ll be banished from Dawnlight Pack. He asked me to renounce tomorrow's Marking Rite of my own accord — to leave a letter telling everyone that I had been the one to break our mating vows. To appease me, he placed the one-of-a-kind Luna Crown in my hands and made his promise: "Once Roslyn and her pup gain a foothold, I will sever the bond. You will always be my fated mate." From the moment we first found each other, Kalen had been my entire world. I had once taken a poison-laced blade meant for him, and had purged every traitor from the pack on his behalf. For five years, I had never once doubted that what we had was real. But now, at last, I understood — I had loved the wrong person. I gave a quiet nod. Then I picked up my phone and sent a single message: "Dad, I'll be home in three days." What Kalen did not know was that I had never cared about the title of Luna in the Dawnlight Pack. Because I am the only daughter of the Lycan king.
