The Alpha's Stolen Twins Episode 1

Series details

Lyric Grey stands before the covenant stone, waiting a full year for Alpha Roderick to confirm her as Luna. Instead, he rejects her publicly—calling her "ugly duckling" for the scar on her face, for her weak wolf, for her family that is "no longer useful." Her stepmother locks her out; her half-sister Nora takes everything. In one night, Lyric loses both homes. She drowns herself in a bar, wearing a black mask. A stranger sits beside her, calls her "Princess," and gives her a choice. By morning, he is gone. Lyric doesn't search for him—because she is pregnant. She leaves for Draconis alone, spending five years becoming a doctor—turning pain into diagnosis, hiding scars beneath her white coat. She is told her twins were stillborn. She never held them. All she has left is an ultrasound—two tiny shadows on faded paper. Five years later, she is sent back as a temporary Luna to Darkspire—where Alpha Jaris Dreadmoor is the man who called her Princess. He doesn't remember her. "Darkspire doesn't rely on old dreams," he says. But Lyric sees Xylon trembling in fever. She hears Xyla describe a white door she has never seen. The ID bands on the children match the ultrasound's batch number—off by only two digits. Marta's fear is tearing the truth apart, stitch by stitch: Lyric's children never died. They were stolen. Blood doesn't lie. Medicine doesn't deceive. Children don't mistake their mother. Lyric walks into the underground archive, opens the sealed birth records—both numbers point to Xyla and Xylon. She doesn't scream. She holds the record to her chest: this time, no one takes her children again. Marta is convicted. Jaris learns to wait. Lyric takes the Luna badge and pins it on herself—her children standing behind her. The ugly duckling doesn't win by becoming a swan. She wins by no longer needing permission to fly. And outside the door, a badge bearing an unknown symbol is handed to Jace—new enemies are already on their way.
