The Anniversary Toast Episode 1

Series details

On the morning of her fifth wedding anniversary, Elise finds her husband Grant’s hidden second phone. Within seconds, her world shatters—not just because of the hundreds of explicit messages, but because of the identity of "Her": her own younger sister, Audrey. For eighteen months, the two people Elise trusted most had been conducting a sordid affair right under her nose, even as they sat across from her at Sunday family dinners. Instead of breaking down, Elise chooses a path of cold, calculated justice. That evening, at a lavish anniversary dinner attended by thirty friends and family members, Grant prepares to give a heartfelt speech about their perfect marriage. But Elise has prepared a "toast" of her own. As the projection screen lights up, the romantic photo montage is replaced by high-definition evidence of betrayal. In a single, cinematic stroke, Elise exposes their lies to the world, leaving the cheaters to face the wreckage of their reputations. However, the exposure is only the beginning. The Anniversary Toast follows Elise as she navigates the painful aftermath of a fractured family and a dissolved marriage. Through the process of reclaiming her life and her voice, she finds an unexpected ally in Owen, Grant’s steady and thoughtful brother. As she heals, Elise learns that while blood may be thick, self-respect is stronger. A gripping tale of infidelity, revenge, and ultimate rebirth, this novel explores the resilience of the human spirit and the beautiful, quiet hope that emerges when you finally stop looking back and start walking toward a future you built for yourself.
