The ARCHMAGE SON-IN-LAW Episode 1

Series details

Raymond Kent harbors an ancient, dormant solar fire within his body. Upon awakening, this cursed flame threatens to incinerate its host unless he unites with a woman possessing the "vessel bloodline" within 30 days. On the day of his release from prison, his adoptive parents force him into a marriage with Windsor Chris—a woman left in a persistent vegetative state. While everyone else sees only a disfigured, living corpse, Raymond immediately recognizes her as the very person whose bloodline can save his life. He breaks a dark magic seal to awaken her, only to be met with a divorce agreement and the cold assurance: "I will compensate you." Meanwhile, while collecting a debt owed to his family, Raymond rescues Genevieve, the eldest daughter of the Astor family. She becomes an unpredictable variable in his marriage, pursuing him with bold, passionate, and persistent displays of affection. Raymond concocts a magical elixir capable of granting an instant breakthrough in power and entrusts it to Genevieve for auction—unaware that the buyer who paid ten million dollars for it—and who now idolizes this "genius alchemist"—is none other than his own wife, Windsor. The battle for control of the Chris Group reaches a boiling point. Windsor’s cousin, Ollie, plagiarizes her proposals and conspires with family elders to seize power. At the critical moment, Genevieve—acting on Raymond’s behalf—appears at the executive appointment banquet and publicly declares that the Astor family will only partner with Windsor, effectively securing her position as president. At the same event, Windsor slaps Ollie and stands up for Raymond, completing her transformation from a "cold, indifferent wife" into a fierce defender of her husband. Yet, the crisis is far from over: Raymond’s solar fire continues to spiral out of control; Windsor remains oblivious to the fact that her husband is the alchemist she so admires; Genevieve refuses to back down in her pursuit of Raymond; and Keck—the cousin who betrayed Genevieve—returns, accompanied by a high-level mage, seeking revenge. A bronze crest bearing the name "House Belrant" leads Raymond toward the mystery of his own origins in the city of magic—who, exactly, is he? With a 30-day deadline looming, what choice will he make?
