The Ascent Prey and Predator Episode 1

Series details

Chloe, a wealthy heiress, once kept Liam as her kept man, only to cast him aside three years later. But fate had other plans—her family business was suddenly plunged into crisis, her father fell critically ill, and the company went bankrupt. Overnight, she tumbled from the pinnacle of luxury to rock bottom. Three years later, desperate to raise money for her father's medical care, Chloe conceals her true identity and applies for a job at Shengshi Group, only to discover that the CEO is none other than Liam—the very man she once abandoned. The once-docile Liam is now cold and ruthless. He launches a calculated revenge, forcing her to sign a draconian contract as his personal secretary and subjecting her to relentless humiliation and petty torment. Yet whenever Chloe is bullied by others, Liam always steps in to shield her. Bound by a tangled web of love and hate, the two probe and test each other, gradually unearthing the misunderstandings of the past. Amidst corporate power plays and emotional tug-of-war, they unfold an ultimate reversed romance—where the line between hunter and prey blurs completely.
