The Beast's Substitute Bride Episode 1

Series details

After a merchant ship sank, the Roland family fell into ruin to pay off massive debts. Young Ella was forced by her vicious stepmother and jealous stepsister to take her sister’s place in an arranged marriage to Carlos, the feared werewolf lord who dwells deep within the Black Forest and is rumored to be bloodthirsty. Inside Weather Castle, Ella uncovered his secret: Carlos was cursed by a witch for ordering a village massacre. Unless he received a true love’s kiss from a human woman before his thirtieth birthday, he would turn into a mindless wild beast forever. Desperate to retrieve her late mother’s precious botanical atlas, Ella struck a deal with him. Using herbal remedies and gardening, she tamed his savage animal instincts, and love gradually bloomed between them. After countless hardships, Ella finally broke the curse with a sincere kiss of true love.
