The Billionaire Wife’s Nightmare Episode 1

Series details

Sloane Hale is born into the Hale family, whose sprawling international enterprises are shadowed by a dangerous past. Her father Conrad Hale was an operative feared by countless factions, while her mother Marcella Voss and older brother Roman Hale also possess formidable executive‑operational capabilities. From childhood, however, Sloane recoils from her family’s legacy of force and bloodshed. She longs for an ordinary, stable home built upon love. To be with Adrian Whitmore, she voluntarily cuts ties with her parents and brother, conceals her true lineage, and over their seven‑year courtship and three‑year marriage molds herself into a quiet, compliant wife. She tends the household and cares for her husband, never drawing on Hale wealth or connections, convinced that humble deference might win genuine affection. Adrian is one of the investors and Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Whitmore Private Medical Center, as well as the sole son of the Whitmore family. Outwardly, he is a professional, respectable, well‑regarded physician, yet his competence and position rest heavily on his family and the political‑judicial connections forged by his maternal grandfather Edmund Harcourt. Since Sloane never speaks of her kin, Adrian writes her off as a rootless orphan. He enjoys Sloane’s devotion yet never respects her, and maintains a long‑term extramarital affair with Kendra Blake. Kendra also becomes pregnant and is brought by Adrian to the hospital to receive prenatal check‑ups
