The Blind Mother's Million-Dollar Test Episode 1

Series details

Celeste, an elderly street food vendor, has spent her life guarding her family's secret sauce recipe. But her biological daughter Vivian sees her as a disgrace—Vivian, desperate to marry into high society, claims to be a descendant of French nobility and hasn't answered her parents' calls for five years. When the multinational food giant PanStar offers fifty million dollars to buy the recipe and requires a designated global heir, Celeste travels to New York in poor health to test her daughter. What she finds: Vivian dresses her dog in couture raincoats but leaves her own parents soaking in the rain beside a trash can; forces them to sign a disownment contract; even falsely accuses them of theft and subjects them to humiliating searches. Meanwhile, Josie, an orphaned apprentice with no blood ties to Celeste, spends her last savings and smashes her own piggy bank to save her mentor's eyesight. Celeste bequeaths the fifty million and the heirship to Josie. Vivian and her wealthy husband Henri fight back desperately—hiring hackers to spread rumors, launching online attacks, bribing judges… until, in a globally live-streamed blind taste-test showdown, the truth comes out and the villains are turned on. A broken iron pot defeats million-dollar tech equipment, proving: true heart is more reliable than blood, and conscience is worth more than money.
