THE BLIND WIFE'S REVENGE Episode 1

Series details

Three‑year‑ago car crash claimed Evelyn’s husband and her eyesight. She inherited a $240‑million trust fund and raised her young daughter Grace alone. At her most vulnerable moment, attorney Grant Mercer walked into her life. He married her with tender vows and built his political image as “the caring husband of a blind wife”, rising to run for governor and becoming the state’s most beloved political star. Yet Evelyn’s world shattered completely on the night of his campaign launch party. She unexpectedly regained her sight and caught sight of her husband entangled violently with his female assistant Claire through the glass window. She kept silent and continued pretending to be blind, determined to gather evidence on her own. But she soon uncovered a truth far crueler than infidelity: her biological daughter Grace had been swapped one year prior. The little girl calling her “Mom” every day, Sophie, was actually Grant and Claire’s illegitimate child. The real Grace was locked away in an abusive “treatment home”, forced to wear tattered rubber shoes and endure beatings and starvation day after day. Evelyn’s revenge began. She set a trap exploiting Grant’s greed — fabricating a $100‑million trust document to lure him into hunting for Grace. Using his own actions, she exposed the hiding place and rescued her birth daughter. Meanwhile, Grant plotted another murder: he tricked Evelyn into signing a $200‑million accident‑insurance policy and planned to set their manor ablaze on campaign‑finale night, staging a flawless “hero‑dies‑saving‑his‑wife” fatal accident. What he never knew was that Evelyn had seen through every scheme. When the fire ignited, she tossed her location tracker into the safe suite Grant had prepared for her, luring him into the tomb he had sealed off himself. Flames devoured everything. To his dying breath, Grant never learned that the “blind wife” he had manipulated had never truly been blind at all.
