The Bride Who Never Returns Episode 1

Series details

To save the family farm, Caroline, an abandoned twin, took her runaway sister Isabella’s place to marry into the wealthy Roth family. For three years of marriage, she was treated like a free servant by her husband Damian. He loved his first love Genevieve, treated Caroline cruelly, let Genevieve steal her business achievements for Roth Group, put her in danger and stripped her of dignity. After Isabella came back, dumped by a worthless man, she envied Caroline’s wealthy life and forced her to give up the title of Mrs. Roth. Heartbroken, Caroline left with her compensation and started a business in Silicon Valley. There she met Jasper, her orphanage childhood friend, now a powerful venture capitalist who offered his full support. Damian later finds out his wife of three years was Caroline, the substitute bride. Overwhelmed with regret, he hurries to the West Coast to win her back. Driven by jealousy, Isabella and Genevieve team up to kill her: they hire hackers to steal her company’s core data, forge fraud evidence against her and plan arson and murder. Worse still, Damian uses his family power to cover up their crimes to force Caroline to yield. Jasper protects Caroline. He gathers top experts to collect proof, invests 10 billion dollars to save her company and short sells the Roth family’s assets. At a national business summit, Caroline tears up the unfair contract publicly. Together with the FBI, she presents solid evidence. Isabella and Genevieve go to prison for espionage and attempted murder. Damian is jailed for sheltering criminals and illegal detention. Caroline escapes her painful past, builds a successful career and gains true love with Jasper, embracing a brand-new bright life.
