The CEO’s 24/7 personal assistant quit Episode 1

Series details

For five years, Wendy has lived a double life — by day, she is Michael Harrington’s flawless personal assistant; by night, she is his hidden, controlled lover. Five years ago, when her mother fell deathly ill and Wendy was desperate, Michael offered her a cruel contract: round-the-clock service in exchange for her mother’s medical expenses. He kept her by his side with suffocating possessiveness, even humiliating her publicly as he prepared for a political marriage to the wealthy heiress Beth. Wendy endured it all, quietly saving money to free herself and her mother. But the cruelest truth emerges: Wendy’s ex-boyfriend reveals her mother’s illness was deliberately arranged by Michael — all to trap her into signing the contract. Broken and betrayed, Wendy flees with her mother. Only then does Michael finally panic. He cancels his engagement, exposes Beth and his scheming uncle Richard’s plot to seize the company, and sends them to prison. As Wendy’s mother’s condition becomes critical, Michael risks everything to bring in the world’s top medical team to save her. Wendy later learns the full truth: Michael has secretly loved her since he was thirteen, after hearing her sing in a small town. He never learned how to love — only how to control. This time, Michael lets go of his paranoia and possessiveness. He chases Wendy with sincerity: bringing her favorite jasmine flowers, watching the movies she loves, and respecting her choices. In the end, Michael kneels before Wendy and proposes with a diamond ring. From a controlled contract lover to a cherished fiancée — Wendy finally gains freedom, dignity, and the true love she has always deserved.
