The CEO's Runaway Wife Episode 1

Series details

Jenessa, pregnant with Ryan's baby, discovers her husband is openly celebrating his first love, Maisie, who has returned. Heartbroken, Jenessa decides to divorce Ryan, keep her pregnancy secret, and revive her career as designer "Sloane Todd." Ryan, bound by a past debt to Maisie (who he believes saved him from a fire), agrees to the divorce but insists Jenessa stay for his grandma's sake. Maisie moves into their home and manipulates Jenessa, even orchestrating a blind date with a lecherous colleague, Tucker. Tucker later assaults Jenessa, leading to her arrest. Ryan, despite his complicated feelings and Maisie's interference, rescues Jenessa, publicly acknowledging her as his wife and ensuring Tucker's confession. Jenessa, still hurt by Ryan's defense of Maisie and his belief that Maisie saved him, struggles with his confusing displays of care. Ryan, unaware of Jenessa's pregnancy and the truth about the fire, continues to fulfill his "husbandly duties" while preparing for a future with Maisie, even choosing Jenessa over Maisie for an upcoming event.
