The CEO's Truth Spell Episode 1

Series details

Chloe, a low-ranking entry-level intern in the workplace, accidentally awakens the supernatural power of "speech being enforced as rules" the moment the manipulative green tea female co-worker steals her creative idea and slaps her in public: as long as she snaps her fingers, anyone within hearing range will involuntarily spill their dirtiest, most hidden secrets. This rare ability draws the attention of the cold, unapproachable CEO Alexander. The two later surprisingly find that both of them hold the shared goal of tearing down the hypocritical Sterling clan, hence they form a dangerous alliance bound by a formal marriage contract. From dragging a group of arrogant rich second-generation heirs into total public disgrace at a high-society dinner, to stripping corrupt senior executives of all their power at the board meeting, Chloe pulls the overbearing untouchable plutocrats off their pedestal with one snap after another. However, as they dig deeper into the buried truth, Chloe is horrified to uncover that the family matriarch Victoria is not the only culprit behind her parents' death 15 years ago — the real mastermind is the old chairman of the Sterling family, who faked his own death to hide for decades. What is worse, her parents were disfigured, poisoned to lose their ability to speak, and enslaved like animals for 15 full years! After going through the harsh backfire of her superpower, life-and-death pursuits and a devastating breach of trust, Chloe turns completely dark, and her ability evolves from the original "snap-induced truth confession" to the silent, more overpowering "mind control". In the final showdown, the powerhouse couple joins forces to stage the grand "Symphony of Truth" at a globally live-streamed gala, directing all the villains to self-destruct, and smashes the oppressive Sterling Empire into pieces once and for all.
