The Crown of Cleopatra Episode 1

Series details

When American archaeology student Layla accidentally activates an ancient curse during a dig on the Nile's west bank, she is thrown back three thousand years to the court of Thebes. Branded a spy and sentenced to sacrifice, she is rescued by the sharp-tongued Third Prince, Ahmose—who needs her as much as she needs him. Hunted by a power-hungry queen mother and coveted by a rival prince, Layla must use her modern knowledge—geology, medicine, chemistry, psychology—to survive. Each "miracle" she performs is rooted in real science: finding groundwater, performing suture surgery, refining salt, even creating a rain-making optical illusion that convinces an entire city she is a goddess. But the deeper she falls into this world, the harder it becomes to remember the one she left behind. When the portal reopens, she faces the ultimate question: return to her family and her old life, or stay with the man who became her home. The Pharaoh's Bride is a sweeping epic of survival, sacrifice, and a love that defies time itself.
