The Cultivator Rising Through Adversity Episode 1

Series details

The male lead, Dylan Smith, was once the most powerful cultivator in the cultivation realm. However, due to a promise made to Silias Ashford, the father of the female antagonist, Dylan agreed to guard the Azure Wind Sect from the demon Azrathoth for fifty years. This duty came at a great cost, weakening his cultivation. When the female antagonist, Elysia Ashford, returned to reorganize the sect, Dylan found himself made into a scapegoat and subjected to ruthless humiliation. What Elysia failed to realize was that Dylan was the true hero. Had it not been for his suppression of Azrathoth, the demon would have laid waste to the sect. During the sect's time of greatest peril, Dylan had quietly resolved the crisis, but Elysia mistakenly believed that it had been solved by the male antagonist, Dorian. Only when the truth came to light did she come to deeply regret her actions. However, by then, the bond between her and Dylan had already been irreparably broken.
