The Cursed Shoes Episode 1

Series details

Lin Xiao's mother, Liu Cuixia, was driven to hang herself by her cheating father Lin Zhendong and his mistress Chen Yun. Returning home grief-stricken, Lin Xiao found her brother Lin Yang behaving strangely: he had rushed her mother’s cremation (breaking the local custom of keeping “unnatural deaths” encoffined for three days), stored the ashes in a plastic bag, and even defended their father and the mistress while smearing their mother’s reputation. More bizarrely, every relative who saw their mother’s mysterious “embroidered grievance shoes” instantly turned against her memory. Convinced the shoes were cursed or her brother was possessed, Lin Xiao fought to uncover the truth—only to fail repeatedly. At her breaking point, she threatened to cut ties, making Lin Yang finally relent. But just as she grabbed the shoe box, her “dead” mother appeared.
