The Don’s scorned gold-digger ex is his savior Episode 1

Series details

Ethan Blackwood, a New York underworld godfather, lost his family empire and his parents five years ago. He was nearly killed in a car crash but saved by his beloved Alina, who sacrificed her angelic divinity. She lost her divine status and developed severe hemophilia, leaving her only five years to live. She secretly gave birth to their son, Noah. To protect Ethan, she feigned greed and abandoned him, then went into hiding to raise their child alone. Five years later, Ethan became a godfather and was engaged to Vanessa. Desperate to fund surgery for Noah, who had a congenital heart defect, Alina took a job as a maid at Ethan’s estate. He publicly humiliated her, forcing her to walk barefoot through a rosebush, leaving her near death. The truth emerged: Vanessa had orchestrated the ruin of Ethan’s family five years earlier. Upon learning Alina was his true savior, Ethan was consumed by remorse. On his wedding day, he exposed Vanessa and destroyed her. But when he rushed to the hospital, Alina had already passed away in her room, wearing the wedding dress he had sent her. Kneeling in anguish before her grave, Ethan lay down in a sea of white roses, choosing to follow his beloved into the afterlife.
