The Heiress from the Gutter Episode 1

Series details

Valerie, the biological Winthrop heiress swapped at birth, grows up in slums before being cruelly murdered by adopted daughter Beverly. Reborn on the day she is brought back to the wealthy Winthrop manor, she bears memories of her past‑life tragedy and resolves to take back what belongs to her. Cunning Beverly pretends to be gentle while repeatedly framing Valerie, with secret backing from Catherine, Nathan’s power‑hungry aunt. With the help of Nathan, heir to the Grove Group, Valerie foils Beverly’s traps one after another. She proves her originality in a high‑stakes design project, exposes Beverly’s sabotage schemes, and gradually wins trust from her sister Grace and her parents. Beverly grows increasingly desperate. She hires thugs to murder Valerie and colludes with Catherine to steal core corporate technology for illegal profit. At a grand engagement banquet, all truths come to light. Beverly learns Catherine is her birth mother, who engineered the baby‑swap decades earlier. Catherine’s greedy investment in the stolen technology collapses in catastrophic failure. Both Catherine and Beverly are arrested for fraud and public‑safety crimes. The Winthrop family makes amends to Valerie. After dissolving an unwanted political engagement, Valerie accepts Nathan’s sincere proposal. Freed from past sufferings, she reclaims her rightful identity, finds true love, and embraces a bright new future.
