The Hillbilly Bride Is a Secret Heiress Episode 1

Series details

Sabrina Sinclair, granddaughter of the world's richest man, has rejected ninety-nine blind dates. In response, her grandfather freezes every trust fund and credit card she has and forcibly sends her to Hubble City to marry into the Blackwood family—one of the three sons—repaying an old debt of friendship. Proud and headstrong, she disguises herself as a tacky country girl: ponytail, fake beauty mark, the works. Her plan is to act so crude and repulsive that the other side calls off the engagement, letting her slip away. But beside Julian Nash—the cold, ascetic, mysophobic eldest heir—a familiar necklace around a rival woman's neck unearths a nightmare buried deep in her bloodline. She is not the Sinclairs' adopted granddaughter at all. She is Evelyn Hart, the orphaned survivor of the Hart family, who were hunted down and destroyed by the powerful ten years ago. A series of drunken mishaps—stumbling into the wrong room, an accidental fall and kiss in a hospital ward—prompts both grandfathers to force an engagement. Sabrina is compelled to stay at the Nash estate, where publicly she is the haggard gofer ordered around as a cleaner, security guard, and CEO's secretary. Secretly, she is "Nova"—the legendary female racer who has swept every Grand Slam title in motorsport—and the last heir of Hart blood, sworn to avenge her murdered parents. She cuts through every obstacle: she wipes off her disguise to destroy the fake heiress who stole her identity, reclaims the family heirloom occupied by Delilah Locke—the "white lotus" ex-girlfriend—and uses secret recordings to expose kidnapping and framing. Julian, meanwhile, is "Rook"—the only racer ever to tie with "Nova" for first place. Through a pair of pink gloves and a commemorative model car, he peels back her triple disguise layer by layer: the ugly duckling, the racing god, the orphaned heiress. When Ryan Nash, the illegitimate second son, is finally exposed after repeated attempts on her life—a mountain-road car crash, severed brake lines on the track, hired assassins—he is cast out of the family. Then the truth rises like a blood-soaked chessboard: the masterminds behind the Hart bankruptcy and the deaths of the chairman and his wife are none other than Ryan and Gerald Locke, the greedy patriarch of the old-money Locke Group, who together orchestrated a predatory Ponzi scheme to destroy the Harts. A recording pen hidden behind a family portrait becomes the ironclad evidence that overturns the case. In the final reckoning, Sabrina appears at Gerald's charity gala and reveals herself as the surviving Hart heir before the entire elite; her enemies are led away one by one by the police. Julian, for his part, drops his ice-cold mask, silently dismantling her enemies and chasing down culprits on the racetrack for the woman who always tries to run. With blood debts paid in full, Sabrina stands before her parents' grave and hands every guilty party over to the law, completing her transformation from avenger to a soul set free. In the end, she and Julian embrace amid the roar of motorcycle engines.
