The honest Beta does not wish to split Episode 1

Series details

Oliver, an eleventh-grade Beta, had terribly poor grades. After failing algebra, he was forced to retake the class with ninth-graders and new students. In that classroom, he encountered the type of person he hated most—someone just like his so-called childhood friend Alan: Ethan. Brilliant, arrogant, rigid, and sharp-tongued. He knew this kind of person looked down on slackers like him, so he had always avoided him. But one day, Alan went and got into a huge fight with Ethan. Oliver had no idea it was because Alan had seen a love letter Ethan wrote to him and was consumed by jealousy. He only knew that for some reason, Ethan had started being kind to him. Meanwhile, Ethan's admirer, the campus goddess Lilian, saw Ethan tutoring Oliver and began making things difficult for him. Alan, finally willing to face his own feelings, made a pact with Ethan: once Oliver entered university, they would both pursue the Beta together. On the night of the graduation banquet, a drunk Oliver unexpectedly underwent a second differentiation. Now he desperately needed an Alpha to accompany him through the night. Who would become his Alpha? The two of them, both guarding his side, were at daggers drawn.
