The Invisible Daughter Episode 1

Series details

Amanda has been invisible in her family for thirty-eight years. No seat at the dinner table. Only half an arm in the family photo. Her birthday forgotten for nine years straight. She sent home a thousand dollars every month for fifteen years. Four hundred and seventy thousand in total. Her brother got five hundred and thirty thousand for a house. Her sister got six hundred and fifty thousand for a dowry and living expenses. Amanda got two thousand for her wedding. When her father got cancer, she took three months off work to care for him. Her mother told everyone it was her brother who paid the medical bills. The day her father died, she found a tin box. Inside was a notebook he had kept for fifteen years, tracking every cent she gave. And a commercial property worth 2.8 million dollars, bought with ten years of his secret savings. On the day of the will reading, the lawyer turned to the last page. "The full property rights of this commercial property shall go to Amanda."
