The Lethal Temptation Episode 1

Series details

Sylvaine, the rightful heir of New Orleans’ Delacroix perfume‑making clan, sees her mother Evelyn murdered by her step‑father Arthur, who covets the family manor deed and legendary perfume formulas. To survive and plot revenge, Sylvaine feigns insanity for five long years. Locked away in an underground perfume lab, she endures repeated injections of pain‑inducing drugs. Her stepsister Margaux steals every scent she creates and builds her public reputation as a gifted elite‑circle perfumer. Dorian, crime lord of the southern underworld, witnessed his parents’ brutal murder in childhood and suffers crippling recurring nightmares. He relies on calming perfume supplied by Margaux, unaware Sylvaine is its real creator. At a yacht gala, Sylvaine seizes her chance to approach Dorian on purpose. She leaves behind an iris family crest to lead him to investigate the Reynolds Manor. Gradually, Dorian uncovers hard evidence proving Margaux possesses no genuine perfume‑making skill. With the help of loyal maid Mabel, Sylvaine sets traps. She stages a toxic‑gas leak to force Dorian to intervene and narrowly escapes death many times. Arthur, his wife Celeste, and the obsessively infatuated step‑son Lucien exploit Sylvaine while colluding with gang boss Viper to smuggle banned pain‑inducing chemicals via tax‑exempt shipping routes for huge profits. Dorian rescues the badly‑injured Sylvaine from captivity. She drops her mad‑woman act. The two form an alliance and fall in love. The Reynolds clan still schemes to keep up their fraud, hoping to pass off shoddy black‑market perfume blends at a high‑profile charity perfume auction. Their scam collapses completely on the gala night, and Margaux’s plagiarism scandal blows up publicly. Working side‑by‑side, Sylvaine and Dorian take down the whole smuggling ring. Arthur, Celeste, Margaux, Lucien and Viper are exposed for all their crimes and meet brutal reckoning. Months later, Dorian plants vast iris flower fields for Sylvaine. Having avenged her family, Sylvaine leaves her five‑year‑long nightmare behind. She finds peace and a new life staying with Dorian.
