The mafia's runaway wife Episode 1

Series details

Chloe, the wife of Dante — the formidable godfather of the Italian mafia — is nothing more than a stand-in Dante deliberately sought out for his long-lost white moonlight Elena from the very start. She bears an uncanny, near-identical resemblance to Elena, and carries the extremely rare Rh-null "golden blood" type, which reduces her to nothing but a disposable tool exploited by Dante from the moment they cross paths. When Elena finally returns to Dante's side, Chloe is subjected to endless humiliation, framing and abuse. Even after she falls pregnant, she is forced to undergo non-consensual blood extractions that cost her the unborn child, pushing her to the very brink of utter despair. After surviving this peak of degradation and agony, Chloe fakes her own death to flee completely, and re-emerges as a fully awakened, sharp-edged new person. She later uncovers her true identity: the long-lost heir of a top Russian mafia family that was displaced as a child. Under the full, ironclad protection of her older brother Victor, she makes a striking, high-stakes comeback in an unmistakeable overpowering guise: scarlet painted lips, sharp stiletto heels, and a steely, merciless streak that leaves no room for past softness, launching a cold, calculated revenge against everyone who ever harmed her. It is only at this point that Dante finally realizes he has long been irreversibly in love with Chloe. Plunged into severe depression by the loss of the only person that ever truly mattered to him, he grovels to beg for her forgiveness and affection, but every one of his pleas is far too late. Centered around brutal revenge, long-buried identity reveals, high-stakes power games and tortured romantic entanglement, the story unfolds to its final shocking twist, exposing Elena as the hidden mastermind pulling all the strings behind every single one of the tragedies Chloe has ever suffered.
