The Mechanic I Married Owns Manhattan Episode 1

Series details

Single mother Clara Bennett flees her controlling ex-husband Derek with her five-year-old daughter Lily. Stranded by a broken car on a rainy night in a small town, she meets mechanic Mason Hale, who shelters them and defends her with the words: “Then stay. Tonight, nobody takes you back.” Believing him to be a humble, reliable small-town mechanic, Clara enters a temporary marriage with Mason to fight for her daughter’s custody. At the custody hearing, Derek mocks Mason for having no status or wealth. Mason’s legal team and corporate representatives then arrive, revealing he owns the largest debt claim against Derek’s company. Clara finally discovers her ordinary mechanic husband is the hidden heir of a Manhattan real estate group. Their sweet love story is built on sincere respect, constant protection, devoted companionship and resolute action.
