The Nightingale Beneath the Thorned Throne Episode 1

Series details

Queen Olivia has only just ascended the throne of the Saint Valois Empire when she is targeted by a deadly conspiracy orchestrated by Regent Reynold. Reynold secretly withholds the rare medicine that can suppress the dangerous backlash of Olivia’s royal bloodline. He then sends Seras, a seductive demon from the Abyss, into the Queen’s chambers, intending to frame her and destroy her reputation. But Olivia refuses to be broken. She outsmarts Seras and turns the trap against him, only to discover something shocking—the demon’s power can neutralize the deadly poison in her blood. With no other choice, Olivia and Seras enter into a magical pact and become unlikely allies. As their battle of power and intrigue against Reynold intensifies, Seras repeatedly risks her life to protect Olivia. What begins as a relationship built on mutual exploitation slowly turns into a carefully staged romance… and then into something real. When Seras is gravely wounded, Olivia risks everything to carry him into a forbidden land in search of a mystical magic spring that could bring him back from the brink of death. But on the anniversary of Olivia’s coronation, Reynold launches his final coup, leading his soldiers into the palace to seize the throne. In front of the entire court, Seras takes control of the situation and forces Reynold to confess the truth he murdered the former king, poisoned the royal bloodline, and plotted to overthrow the throne. Then, in a final act of sacrifice, Seras willingly gives up his own life force to purge the poison from Olivia’s blood and cleanse the royal family of its darkest stain. Freed from the curse and restored to her full power, Olivia personally executes Reynold and finally takes absolute control of the empire. But demons born from desire are not so easily killed. Under the pale moonlight, the immortal Seras returns to Olivia’s side—proving that their love was never meant to end.
