The old house is haunted Episode 1

Series details

Wang Hu and Li Xiufang poured their life savings into an old house in the village, only to be met with a series of bizarre events right after moving in. Their neighbor, Chen Shun, insisted they leave; they heard a baby crying in the dead of night; bloody words and handprints appeared on the walls; and they found bloodstains in the courtyard. The situation escalated when a mysterious intoxicating smoke drove Li Xiufang into a hysterical frenzy. Terrified but determined, the couple discovered it wasn't a haunting, but the work of Chen Shun's daughter, Chen Xin. Chen Xin's best friend's family had died from poisoning, and she mistakenly believed the couple were the villains who had stolen her friend's home, prompting her to orchestrate the scheme to scare them away. The truth was that the original owners had been accidentally poisoned in an incident involving medicinal herbs, a fact the villagers had hidden to protect their own livelihoods by protecting the reputation of their medicinal herb trade. In the end, Chen Xin apologized to Wang Hu and Li Xiufang and reconciled with her father, and the couple chose to stay in the old house.
