The Outcast is the Archmage Episode 1

Series details

The archmage of ancient times was betrayed and killed by his own clan and the council. His bloodline was exploited to create a vessel—the male protagonist. Raised as a mere tool by the clan, he was confined and guarded, waiting only for his awakening so they could seize the forbidden spells within him. During his coming-of-age ceremony, the boy was found to possess zero magical power. The clan immediately disowned him and sent hunters to kill him. On the brink of death, he awakened the memories of his past life and inherited the forbidden spells. He returned to the academy and slew the clan’s legitimate heir in a tournament. In retaliation, an elder blew off his arm, leaving him with merely three months to live. To save his life, the male protagonist ventured into a forbidden realm. Trapped in an illusion, he learned the brutal truth: he was nothing but a man-made tool. Fully awakened at last, he marched back to his clan. With the female lead’s assistance, he broke the protective formations and turned the tide in battle. Using the forbidden spells, he reduced the entire clan to ruins.
