The Price of Deception Episode 1

Series details

Serena Vance, a 26-year-old struggling independent artist, is desperate to save her younger brother, who urgently needs an expensive operation for a rare blood disorder. With no money and nowhere left to turn, she accepts an unexpected offer from Damian Blackwood, the 34-year-old head of Blackwood Group and one of America’s most powerful financial tycoons. Damian’s dying grandfather has only one final wish: to see his eldest grandson married. But one week before the wedding, Damian’s fiancée, Aurora Sterling, runs away with the son of the Blackwood family’s greatest rival, leaving the family humiliated. Unless Damian marries before his grandfather dies, he will lose absolute control of the family trust and risk being removed by the board. Damian offers Serena a contract marriage: she will become his temporary bride, and he will pay for her brother’s treatment. What begins as a cold business arrangement soon turns into a dangerous emotional battle. As family secrets, corporate schemes, and old betrayals close in, Serena must decide whether she is merely a substitute—or the one woman Damian is willing to risk everything for.
