The Primordial Sword God 〢 Episode 1

Series details

For thousands of years, Sword Martial Continent regards swordsmanship as supreme law. Every 18-year-old youth shall attend the Sword Awakening Ritual to unlock their natal flying swords, ranked from mortal grade to emperor grade. Luo Guanlan, an abandoned infant adopted by the powerful Zhennan Manor, has suffered endless mockery for 18 years. Any sword he touches will crack instantly, so the whole clan labels him a useless good-for-nothing. On his coming-of-age awakening ceremony, his jealous cousin Luo Chengyue awakens a Grade-4 Golden Scale Flying Sword with the armor-breaking skill, drawing cheers from all nobles. His fiancée from the Prime Minister’s Manor tears up their engagement sword certificate and tramples it publicly, cutting off all ties with him. Desperate and humiliated, Luo Guanlan’s dormant Primordial Sword Seal hidden in his body awakens. He bears the lost primordial source power of the ancient Sword God—he needs no refined spirit swords, for twigs, stones and running water can all turn into unmatched sword light. During the clan tournament for academy recommendation spots, Luo Guanlan defeats all talented clansmen merely with a dry twig, shocking everyone in the manor. Step by step, he uncovers his secret identity: the guardian of the Eternal Sword Tomb, the sole inheritor of the extinct primordial bloodline. He crushes arrogant clan elders and conceited sect disciples who look down on him, recovers scattered broken divine swords across forbidden lands of the continent, and reclaims the honor that was once stripped away from him.
