The prodigal son's capricious ways Episode 1

Series details

Kevin's previous life was a tragedy. His younger brother, Isaac, had conspired with their stepmother, Yvonne, to seize the family's wealth, leading to the death of their father and the collapse of their family. Kevin was left destitute and alone. On the brink of death, he unexpectedly found himself reborn, transported back to a pivotal moment when the heir to the Chu family's fortune was to be decided. Determined to rewrite his fate, Kevin shed his former image as a reckless spendthrift and began leveraging the memories of his past life to plan every move with precision. First, he mortgaged the deeds to his properties and bought out the market's entire supply of 7nm chips, a cutting-edge component critical to modern electronics. Shortly after, a global tsunami disrupted supply chains, destroying the largest chip factory, and overnight, Kevin made a staggering profit of five billion dollars. Following that, he deliberately spread false information to lure Isaac into a trap, then used high-risk stock trading strategies with Collin Lithium stock to make another ten billion dollars. When faced with provocations from Collin and Phillip, the heir of the Lin family in Imperial City, Kevin turned the tables by accepting Isaac's offer of an abandoned coal mine. To everyone's shock, the mine turned out to contain a massive gold deposit, earning Kevin billions. Adding insult to injury, Kevin released surveillance footage exposing Isaac's scheme to tamper with bidding documents. Strengthening his position further, Kevin enlisted Braydon, a renowned champion from the underground boxing scene, and won a high-stakes gamble in the oil market, absorbing the Lin family's vast fortune, valued in the billions, and bringing their dynasty to ruin. In just six months, the Chu family became one of the most influential families in China. By Kevin's side were Kaelyn, his steadfast partner, Ximena, his loyal confidante, and Rylie, his ever-reliable secretary. Yet, the story ended with a tantalizing twist: the arrival of a mysterious princess from the Desert Kingdom, hinting at new challenges ahead.
