Selina pursued boldly, while Simon quietly protected her. On the night of Selina’s eighteenth birthday, they fell in love. But a misunderstanding made her believe she had been deceived by her lover and cast out. Years later, under the code name “Blood Rose,” she returns bent on revenge. The truth, however, is that Selina suffers from a hereditary disease. Simon was raised by her father as a sacrifice to provide a heart for Selina, destined to resolve all problems for her before the family could go legit, and ultimately to sacrifice himself.
