The Vampire Physician’s Reckoning Episode 1

Series details

Selena, a renowned underground vampire physician, spent six years supporting her blood-bonded mate Adrian and his entire family single-handedly. She covered their living costs, elite tuition, premium blood supplies, safe housing and a huge hunter-related debt, even purchasing brand-new identities to shield them from danger. When the Human Security Bureau raided her clinic before sunrise, Adrian cruelly gave Selena’s exclusive sun-proof car seat to his ex-lover Vera, abandoning her to face fatal sunlight alone. Surviving with experimental anti-sun serum, Selena led agents straight to their escape route. She froze all their bank accounts, cut off blood rations, closed every safe house, and filed with the Vampire Council to sever their blood bond and recover $500,000 in debts. Stripped of all her protection, the family fell into ruin: disfigured Vera was captured and executed by authorities, Adrian lost his night patrol post and was sentenced to lifelong debt labor, while his parents and sister lived in destitution. Free from parasitic attachments, Selena advanced daylight tolerance research, opened an official licensed clinic, and became the first vampire capable of embracing sunlight, claiming complete freedom over her life.
