Series details

One forbidden night with the poisoned War God Ares leaves the priestess Serena pregnant and desperate. To shield her child from Olympian assassins, she sacrifices her memories and her lifespan to the Fates, forgetting the father's face entirely. Years later, Serena is forced back into Ares's palace, only to find her former best friend, Hera, living in luxury after stealing her identity as the god's savior. But Hera's stolen throne is built on sand. The moment Ares lays eyes on Serena, the cold, bloodthirsty deity becomes obsessed. Driven by an unexplainable urge to keep her close, Ares forces Serena into a fake engagement. Serena thinks she’s just playing a part to survive, unaware that the brutal War God is slowly remembering the touch of the woman she forgot she was.
